1 month already!!

I can't believe my Gunnar man is already 1 month old.  Although I am happy for my sake that the first month is behind me.  Nursing has been rough to say the least but I think I finally have it down.  Getting mastitis sure didn't help.  I don't think I've ever been so sick.  Other than that though having Gunnar here has been so much fun.  He has been such a good baby.  He usually goes 4-5 hrs at night which is sweet and he usually wakes up eats and goes right back to sleep.  Not quite sure why I still feel like a zombie in the morning!  I took him to his dr app today and he weighs 9lb8oz and is 21 1/2 in long.  He's in the 50% for both height and weight and has gained 2 lbs since we left the hospital.  I just can't get enough of him!!

Gunnar's 1st time to church!  I don't think he likes to get all dressed up!
But man he looked stinkin cute even if his clothes are a bit too big.

1 month old today!

Gunnar definitely made a cute little calf!

We went to Cluff's Halloween party dressed up as cows cause well that's what I feel like these days!
Right in the middle of this picture Gunnar had a huge explosion and ruined his cute cow costume.

I sure love my boys!  Silly dad Gunnar is supposed to fall asleep first!

My sisters Heidi and Mary came from Utah to meet Gunnar.  Heidi's Bridger is 1 month older than Gunnar.  We got some cute pictures of them together.  Too bad they don't live closer.  It was so fun to have them here to visit.  Stacie came too for the weekend and so we were all together...well all the girls Aaron couldn't make it.  It was so nice having my sisters here to help.  Heidi and Mary were here when I got mastitis and it was a good thing.  I don't know what I would have done if I was here alone.  I seriously couldn't even hold Gunnar I was so sick.  Thanks for all your help guys you were a lifesaver!

For some reason I can't get the other pictures to work so that's it for now.  Time to finish dinner, eat, then feed Gunnar!

1 Week Old and a House!

Gunnar was 1 week old yesterday.  That first week was a bit rough so I'm hoping week number 2 gets better.  But after being up all night I have my doubts!  I decided they need to make an epidural for the week after delivery.  The healing process and nursing are way worse pain than pushing him out with an epidural was.  But every time I look at him it is all worth it.  Gunnar melts my heart!

We went on our first walk today.  Gunnar liked it so much he slept the whole time!

The before shot of Gunnar's room!  Believe me it will look much different!

Before shot of the master bedroom.
Amidst all the baby chaos we FINALLY got keys to our house!  Chad and his dad have been busy working on it so we can move in.  They are furring out and sheet rocking the interior walls that are just brick.  Lots of work but in the end it will be worth it.  We are excited to have our own house again but I'm not so much looking forward to moving and unpacking any time soon!
