Gunnar Michael Crockett

He's here!! Gunnar Michael Crockett was born Sunday September 26, 2010 at 10:38 pm. He weighed in at 7lb 15oz and measured 21 in long. He surprised us and came out with blonde hair! He is so adorable and gets cuter each day. I LOVE having him here. He is doing great nursing which is a huge relief. He's going to grow way too fast. I am doing pretty good and feeling better each day. I had to have an episiotomy so I'm pretty sore. Overall, the labor went really well. I am a huge fan of epidurals! I felt no pain which is amazing to me. Although as soon as Gunnar came out the epidural wore off completely so I felt every stitch and yowzers that hurt really bad. He is totally worth it though and I know it could've been a lot worse.

Right after he was born.  I remember feeling a lot worse than I look right here!  It was exciting to have him in my arms though!
 One Happy Daddy!!

                                                                  4 days old today!

He didn't so much like his bath!

I've got the whole world...

Nicole painted my belly today and I think it turned out awesome!  It looks better than the ones we were copying from the internet!  I LOVE it.  We got some 8x10's printed and I'm going to frame one for his room.  Thanks Nicole for spending most your day with our little project!!

36 weeks!

Just pretend I made this post last Saturday! Here's a pic of me at 36 weeks. I am dilated to a 1.5, 75% efaced, and at a -1 according to my last dr appointment on the 3rd. I'm hoping to at least progress in one of those categories at my next appointment on Friday. The dr said I am progressing well and everything looks good. I could go any day or I could be late...there's no way to know. All I know is I am super excited and can't wait to hold my little man. It doesn't quite seem real yet but I can't wait!!
If you think I look HUGE that's fine just don't tell me! I prefer, "Oh you look so cute!" Even though I know that's not true either!
Chad and I had a major shopping weekend when we went to Mesa for my dr. app. That's what happens when you live in Safford and there's nowhere to shop! Here I am sporting my new jogging stroller travel system. We also got a washer/dryer, dishwasher, video camera, bedding, and lots of other random necessities! It felt like we won a shopping spree!!
This is my crib and I LOVE it! I made the bumper pads and crib sheet and I'm so glad they turned out and actually fit the crib. Saved me a lot of $ considering the bedding I liked was $140! It wasn't the easiest project but I did it and that's all that matters.

This is my newest nephew Bridger! Heidi had her baby 2 weeks ago and oh how I wish I could go see him. I'm sad I'm the only one in the family who hasn't met him yet. That's what happens when I'm too huge to travel and she lives in Utah. Hopefully someday soon our little guys will get to meet.

In other news we are still waiting to close on our house. We've seriously had every holdup possible and not because of us or our credit. Because Chase has a HORRIBLE loan department who don't know what they are doing. We are on day 75 today and yes we've even already signed the papers although they are no good. We signed last week but now they are saying since it took so long the appraisal expired and they have to order a new one and yep you guessed it WE get to pay for it. What a mess I just can't wait to be done with the whole thing. But I have chosen to quit worrying about it and just focus on this baby. Granted he most likely won't have a house to come home to but it could be worse! Just take our advice please and never go through Chase for a home loan...that will give me satisfaction knowing I prevented someone else from this awful mess.

Let the countdown begin!! (Oh wait it already has and it seems like I've been pregnant FOREVER!!)
