BAHAMAS

We had an aboslute blast on our cruise to the Bahamas! I love travelling and can't get enough! I will tell all about our trip through pictures!

This was our first ever taxi ride...in the US that is! Our taxi from the airport to the seaport after flying all night! We were exhausted but excited!!

Sailing away from Miami. We got on the ship about noon and ate some lunch. Then we had to wait until 2 to go to our room. Once they let us in we crashed for a few hours until we started sailing! Boy did that nap feel good!

We decided this is our future house!haha Right on the ocean with a huge yacht parked out front!

I loved all the coconut trees and island foliage! This was in Freeport right on the beach. We weren't too thrilled with this stop. The snorkeling wasn't great and the water was pretty cold. We stayed a few hours on the beach, did some shopping, then headed back to the ship to eat and relax by the pool.

This is our beautiful ship docked in Freeport. Aren't the flowers cool?haha The ship was so pretty on the outside but man it had a funny smell inside. Chad was allergic to something in our room which gave him a sore throat and flared up his asthma. Thank goodness he's tough and pretended he felt great!!

Yes, I'm super white but try to just look at the beauty of the beach! We walked and walked and walked out to this spot because they told us this was the best place to snorkel. Ya totally not worth it. I don't know what the deal was but we only saw about 5 fish. It was neat to feel like we had our own private beach though! We took a jet ski taxi back and it was definitely worth it!!

My HOT husband figuring out what to do next in Nassau. See the huge hotels in the background... ya that's where we walked from!! We had to work off all that cruise food!!

We walked through the Atlantis Resort until we got caught! A day pass for the waterpark was $110 per person! Crazy! We saw some neat stuff before we got caught though. This was a pond with huge turtles in it! I wanted to snorkel with turtles! They must've caught them all and put them in the pond cause they were nowhere to be seen in the ocean!

They had a tunnel through the sharks! That was pretty cool! I am glad we didn't snorkel with the sharks!
This is Atlantis. The entire resort is like a mile long! It's HUGE! The arch is a 5,000 square foot suite that costs $25,000 per night and you have to book at least 4 nights! It's booked solid for 5 years! I can't believe people spend that much money just on a room! It was a fun resort though and would make for a fun vacation!
This is Paradise Island, the big hotels in the back are all part of Atlantis. All along this little island are houses of the rich and famous. Land on this island costs $1000 per square foot! I'd prefer my own private island!!haha This is all part of Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas.

Our towel elephant in the cave! Never again will we get an inside room! It felt like a cave! We slept with the bathroom light on just so we could get up in the morning. I don't know if we will cruise with Norwegian again. The service wasn't as good as Carnival. We didn't like the Freestyle part as well either. We liked having things organized! The food wasn't as good either. Probably because they had 5 specialty restaurants and wanted you to spend money to eat there. They didn't make any money off us! Considering we don't drink or gamble!! We were tempted to play some blackjack but didn't give in!!
This was our favorite place! Great Stirrup Cay. This island is owned by Norwegian Cruise Line and is completely a private island. There were a couple dorm like housing for the crew off in the distance, but other than that it was just island. It was absolutely beautiful!! We liked it too cause everything was included on the island! Free food, beach chairs, and hammocks! At the other islands just a beach chair was 10 bucks.
Isn't this such a cute picture! We loved relaxing in the hammock!

The view from the island to our ship.

This spot reminded me of the song, Do you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean? We snorkeled down by these rocks. This was the best snorkeling. We saw an octopus and some really pretty fish. I was dissapointed we never saw any dolphins! Overall we had a wonderful time! It was the best graduation present I could've asked for!!

Guess how much?

We just went shopping!! We got 47 boxes of crackers for a total of about $3.00! That's counting the money we spent to print all the coupons at ASU. Then we had to pay 18 cents for tax for every 10 boxes! I'd say it's a steal of a deal though! That's what we do all day when we have no work!!!

We got the coupons from coupons.com and kraft.com it will only let you print the coupons once from a computer which is why we went to ASU so we could use a different computer each time.

Say WHAT?!?

We just booked a cruise to the Bahamas!! AaAaAaHhHhHhH!! We are so excited and can't even believe it! Thanks to mom for the graduation present and Richard and Stacie for the flight miles!! We leave in 9 days and definitely are counting down! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family that loves us and looks after us! Someday we'll be able to repay you for all you do for us!! THANKS SO MUCH!!
I'm trying to stay focussed on reality a little bit though because I really need a summer job and a teaching job for that matter! I thought I had it worked out for Kid Zone but it didn't happen. If anyone has any leads that would be awesome!! Thanks!
Chad finished school this semester and we are so happy! He had a very heavy stressful load. His hardest class was Structures and he pulled out a B! I am so proud of him and all of his hard work! This trip is just perfect during the short 2 weeks he has off before starting summer school. Yuck but worth it! Another reason why I really need to find a job since Chad will be in school all day! Anyways that's the little update on us! Now we are off to get all ready for my graduation party tomorrow! Everyone is invited stop by if you can it's at 7 on Saturday at Stacie's house!!

Graduation!

I'm officially a college graduate! I had such a fun day going up to Flagstaff for my graduation. Walking made being done feel real! Thanks mom for driving up with us we had so much fun! Thanks to Lorie and Aaron for coming to support me! After graduation we drove back and met my dad at Red Lobster. It was fun to be together and celebrate mother's day, Lorie's birthday, and my graduation. Here's some pictures that captured the moment!!

My super cute pink flower and pink heels!!
